Director

 Director candidates  must have worked in an Allied Health profession in the Ophthalmic industry for at least one year and be certified or licensed at a core level by one of the following accrediting bodies: 

  • International Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology (IJCAHPO)
    • Core certifications: COA, COT, COMT
  • American Board of Opticianry and National Contact Lens Examiners (ABO-NCLE)
    • Core certifications: ABOC, NCLEC
  • Ophthalmic Photographers’ Society (OPS)
    • Core certifications: CRA, OCT-C 
  • American Optometric Association (AOA) via Commission on Paraoptometric Certification (CPC)
    • Core certifications: CPO, CPOA, CPOT 

iii. Each Director shall provide a resume inclusive of the last 10 years of employment and proof of current certification to be kept on file indefinitely within 6 (six) weeks of role finalization.


Coordination Director

The Coordination Director will work with the Program Director to support the application process by recruiting speakers, gathering of materials from speakers, drafting of program agenda, meeting and conference food coordination, procurement of swag, and other related tasks. The Coordination Director will keep a record of topics covered in each conference event inclusive of the past three (3) years.
